These Boots

These Boots is a cover of These Boots Are Made for Walkin’, a 1960’s No.1 Hit pop song in the US & UK. It was originally written by Lee Hazlewood and performed by Nancy Sinatra.

Megadeth covered the These Boots on Killing Is My Business… and Business Is Good!, with expletive-laden lyrics that altered from the original and reportedly ‘upset’ Lee Hazlewood, who later complained and got the song removed from future pressings of the album.

The track was later re-instated on the 2002 remaster of Killing Is My Business… with bleeped out swear words.

These Boots Lyrics

Solo – Poland

You keep saying you got something for me
Something you call love, but I call sex
You’ve been kissing when you ought-a-be-a-screwing
And now someone else can kiss your ass

These boots are made for walking
And that’s just what they’ll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you

Solo – Poland

You been lying and there ain’t no believing
And you keep sayin, what you on about bitch
You been staying when you ought-to-be-a-leaving
Now what’s right is right but you ain’t been right yet

These boots are made for walking
And that’s just what they’ll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you

Solo – Poland

You keep dressin’ ways you shouldn’t be dressing
And you keep thinking that you’ll never get burned, ha!
I just found me a brand new box spring mattress
What you know, bitch, you got a lot to learn

These boots are made for walking
That’s just what they’ll do
And one of these days these boots
Are gonna stomp all over you

Are you ready boots?
Start walking

Solo – Poland

And you think I’m kiddin, don’tchya!
